It’s Time for 2025 National Sports Collectors Convention – Come See Us!

Dear Sports Collectors — It’s the last week of July and that means it is time for another National Sports Collectors Convention!!! That’s me (Jon Ogg) in the photo but I may not be able to wear the uniform all that long.

Come see us at the 2025 National Sports Collectors Convention! Do I need to remind anyone it’s in Rosemont/Chicago at the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center (close to O’Hare!)? We will be setting up later on Tuesday, but the show runs Wednesday, July 30 thru Sunday, August 3 (again, still in 2025).

We are the SPORTS MEMORIES booths at 913/915 in the main lobby. I am there with my crew Paul Baldwin and Todd and Cutter Reese. We will have many of our own cards and many cards on consignment. It’s too many cards and players to name but let’s just drop a few names– Mantle, Mays, Aaron, Ruth, Cobb, Ryan, Koufax, DiMaggio, Jackie, Ted, Stan, Roberto and many others. Other great vintage cards from tobacco era like N-1880s and T206; 1930s Goudey; Leaf; Bowman; Topps and so on.  And why not some 1932 U.S. Caramel Presidents and 1940 Superman (his rookie #1 card times two) in vintage non-sports.

We are still hopeful that Roger will be joining us, fingers crossed! He has been a great mentor and friend, and it has been a pleasure to work with him (back into the 1980s when I was a teenager!)

AND…. WE ARE BUYING!!!!!!! I am buying vintage sports collections (as well as vintage non-sports), and if I can’t buy it Todd and Cutter will definitely be interested. And we are no longer just vintage cards — Paul does almost all of our ultra-modern buying and selling for baseball, basketball and football!  And if Roger is not able to make an appearance, you can write your vintage baseball and football set-building requests and those can be sent directly and immediately to him during the show.
